New NOGI Collaborations with Renzo Gracie Houston, Renzo Gracie Lake Worth & Renzo Gracie Weston
The REVIVAL INITIATIVE launched its next phase of custom academy rashguard and shorts kits designed by CARBYNE Founder Shawn Williams and the Head Coaches and owners of the partner academies. The three academies we have partnered with are Renzo Gracie Houston and its five location around the Houston area and Renzo Gracie Lake Worth and Renzo Gracie Weston. All three kits follow a black and charcoal look to give the apparel a Black on Black look similar to Metallica’s Black Album and The Las Vegas Raiders.
Shawn Williams and Renzo Gracie Lake Worth and Weston Head Coach and owner Stan Beck go way back to the original Renzo Gracie Academy in New York City. The two have been long-time friends and collaborators and worked together to develop a NOGI kit for each academy featuring a long-sleeve rashguard and shorts.
Renzo Gracie Houston Head Coach and owner Brian Marvin served 20 years as an active soldier in The United States Army and had multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. He has been at the forefront of growing Houston and Texas into one of the biggest hotbeds for BJJ through his coaching and development of new academies.
The REVIVAL INITIATIVE is a collaboration between CARBYNE and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academies to help the academies reopen and get back on their feet. We work with the academies to design a NOGI BJJ kit consisting of a rashguard and pair of shorts and put them on our site for a pre-order sale. Fifty-percent of the revenue generated from the sales go directly back to the academies to help them with rent, payroll and other operating costs.
